Master Brewers Scholarship
This scholarship covers the full cost of tuition to any of our three courses. Master Brewers members in good standing are eligible to apply for the Master Brewers Scholarship.
Scholarship Application Deadlines:
- January 31: Brewery Packaging Technology Course
- May 1: Brewery Maintenance Systems Course
- August 1: Brewing and Malting Science Course
Eligibility
In order to apply for this scholarship, you must:
- Be a current member of Master Brewers in good standing.
- Possess a minimum of two (2) years' service in the brewing and/or malting industry.
Criteria
To apply, you must submit the online application form (link above) along with the following documents:
1. Your Resume
2. Two (2) Letters of Reference
From industry colleagues who understand your commitment to the brewing industry. Each letter should include:
- A one-paragraph summary describing your qualifications.
- An explanation of how this person came to understand your level of commitment to the brewing industry.
3. A Brief, Focused Essay (300-500 words)
Please address the following in your essay:
- How did you become involved/interested in the brewing industry?
- What are your goals for the next 3-5 years and how will this course support those goals?
- What benefits will you and your company/employer gain by you attending this course?
- A statement that expresses your skills and traits that make you a successful team member.
- How will you apply the knowledge you gain from this course in a way that exhibits the traits you described?
