Abstract
Peter Coors gave the opening remarks to the attendees at the World Brewing Congress held in Denver, Colorado, on August 14, 2016. Peter opened by relating back to the five generations of brewing history in the Coors family. With Adolph Coors' founding of a 5,000 hL brewery in Golden, Colorado, in 1873, because of the water quality available in the Clear Creek Watershed, the Coors legacy began. He discussed three primary topics after bringing the audience up to speed on the family history. Peter talked about water, marketing, and quality. Before Peter departed he graciously provided time to answer a few more direct questions as an interview.
