District Great Plains was formed in the fall of 2019, to serve the needs of brewers in Southern & Central Iowa, Kansas, Western Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma. We typically try to meet at least twice a year, with an annual meeting in late February in the Kansas City area, and another technical meeting in late fall. Our goal is to increase that number to three meetings soon, with the goal of installing more regional meetings outside of the centrally located Kansas City. As of the spring of 2023, we have just over 105 members, of whom over 75% are brewer members. We strive to center our main meetings around a strong set of technical presentations for attendees. We believe the strength of our district is in our members and we hope that anyone seeking education, networking, and the company of fellow professionals will feel welcome in our district no matter where they call home.
