October 31 – December 17, 2021 Online (no course Thanksgiving week)

Course Overview

Learn about brewing and malting from industry experts. This course will take you through the technical side of the brewing and malting process. More than 25 topics covered in-depth! 

​Attendees will be expected to access the assigned weekly course content via our online learning platform on their own from Sunday through ​Thursday. Attendees are also expected to participate in the Friday virtual in class sessions with subject matter experts to further reinforce the weeks topics.

Course Requirements

As an attendee, you will independently access the assigned weekly course content through our online learning platform. You will then have a live virtual class each week where that material will be further reinforced by the subject matter experts. Additional collaborative activities with your peers through community chat rooms and offline work will also be expected.

Assume approximately 14-18 hours combined in-class and independent work per week. We ask that you take time off from your job during the once a week, live class session, to ensure the necessary level of class participation and engagement.

80% or better score on assignments and assessments

100% attendance in live sessions (unless prior approval of the course director).​

Master Brewers Course Scholarships are available. View eligibility requirements and apply online. Deadline to apply August 15, 2021.​

Cancellation Policy

Only applications accompanied by the tuition fee, paid in full (US funds only), will be accepted. Cancellations received at Master Brewers on or before October 1, 2021, will be issued a credit equal to the registration fee, less $100 processing fee, which will be good for two years toward any Master Brewers continuing education program. Notices of cancellation after October 1, 2021, will not be eligible for a refund or credit. Master Brewers reserves the right to cancel the course if a sufficient number of registrations are not received by October 1, 2021. If Master Brewers cancels this course, your registration fee will be refunded in full. By registering for this course, you agree to the cancellation and refund terms and conditions.
