About the Presenter


Robert Van Durme
Lechler Inc. Spray Nozzles and Systems



Rob Van Durme is currently employed by Lechler Inc. Spray Nozzles and Systems as a Market Manager for the West Region of the United States.  He has been in the nozzle industry for over 29 years and has authored and presented several technical papers during his tenure.  

He worked as a Project Engineer for the first 10 years designing, developing, and testing nozzles for many applications.  He advanced into Sales for the Environmental Division of Lechler specializing in nozzles and complete turnkey systems for Air Pollution Control contracts.  He recently moved over to the Industrial Division to develop that segment of Lechler’s portfolio which serves the Food, Beverage, & Pharmaceutical markets.  ​

Rob holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Masters of Business Administration from Roosevelt University in Chicago.  Rob is also a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Illinois.
