Webinar Summary

“What is diversity? How does it apply to me? Why should I really care? My company doesn't have a problem!"

In the brewing industry, we are always trying to find ways to do more - to brew better beer, to be more efficient, and to build even better workplace structures. In this webinar, racial justice professional Ren Navarro will introduce the "JEDI" ( Justice, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion) model of formalizing your diversity and outreach programs, and why it's important to understand not only in hiring but with vendors, customers, and everyone else your team works with.

A strong understanding of justice, equality, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) concepts is the first step in creating and maintaining a positive and dynamic workplace culture. As these concepts become familiar around the globe, creating a welcoming environment is no passing trend - the time is now!

The webinar will provide the following:

  • A thorough understanding of what diversity means in the context of our industry
  • An appreciation for the wide scope of intersectionality, allowing attendees to set goals in support of all customers, employees, and vendors
  • The confidence and ability to start positive and productive conversations in their own brewery

Feeling shy? Worried about asking a “dumb question"? You can ask a question when you register or you can send your questions early via email. All questions will be addressed anonymously during the webinar.
