District Western New York Meeting

District Western New York held a meeting on March 13, 2013 at the new Genesee Brew House in Rochester, NY.  Genesee Brewing Co. was founded in 1878.  We were treated to a fabulous view of the High Falls, and tours of the pilot brewery by Dean Jones.  Rich Michaels of F. X. Matt Brewing Co. presented “Wort Boiling & Managing Steam Flow”, which was well received by attendees.  All proceeds went to the Scholarship Fund, compliments of Genesee Brewing Co.   Our next meeting will be hosted by Ommegang Brewing Co., Cooperstown, NY on May 22, 2013.  We look forward to seeing everyone in this charming historic setting and home of the Baseball Hall of Fame.
