Le MBAA est heureux de vous inviter à la première édition du CONCOURS IRON BREWER dans le district de l’Est du Canada!
Avez-vous l’âme d’un brasseur ? Les participants devront brasser une bière à l’aide d’ingrédients qui leur seront donnés dans un sac. Deux mois plus tard, les participants devront fournir 20L de bière dans le format de leur choix pour qu’elles soient jugées par un jury d’experts et le public lors d’un évènement.
Voilà les règles :
• Jusqu’à 15 participants sont autorisés. Si plus de candidatures sont reçues, un tirage au sort sera effectué.
• Les participants doivent être membres du MBAA (Eastern Canada District).

• Les brasseurs inscrits seront contactés et devront aller chercher le sac. Le sac contient suffisamment d’ingrédients pour faire 20-25 litres de bière.
• Les brasseurs doivent utiliser uniquement ce qu’il y a dans le sac. Toutefois, ils ne sont pas tenus d’utiliser la totalité des ingrédients.
• Pendant l’évènement final, il sera demandé aux participants de faire une courte présentation sur leur produit. Il est donc conseillé, le jour du brassin, de prendre des photos pour une présentation future.

The MBAA is happy to announce the 1st edition of the IRON BREWER COMPETION in the Eastern Canada District!
So you think you can brew? Candidates will have to brew a beer using ingredients received in a bag. Two months later, they will have to provide 20L of beer in the format of their choice for a tasting event.
Rules:
• Up to 15 participants will be accepted. If more applications are received, a lottery will be organized.
• Participants must be a MBAA Eastern Canada District member.

• Selected brewers will be contacted and will be asked to pick up the “Bag” at a designated location. The “Bag” will include sufficient grain, hops, yeast to make 20-25 litres of beer.
• Brewers can only use what is in the “Bag”. However, they are allowed to use only a portion or all of the ingredients available.
• The brewer must make a presentation at the event. Therefore, it is recommended to take photos of the equipment during the brew day. All presentations will precede the tasting.
