Tessa, a Seattleite with extensive international experience in brewing, holds an MSc in Brewing and Distilling from Heriot-Watt University. Currently, she serves as the Sensory and Brewing Research Manager at YCH, where she leads the brewing research program with a focus on beer sensory analysis. In her role, Tessa collaborates closely with Yakima Chief Hops' sensory team, pilot brewery, and brewing partners to design, execute, and document experiments aimed at advancing our collective knowledge of hops and beer flavor.
