Kosher Production of Beer: A Technical Perspective

Abstract
The decision of a brewery to undergo Kosher certification and to commence Kosher supervision of its production is often a complex technical and marketing issue. A review of pragmatic aspects of Kosher certification and technical issues is addressed. Protocols relat-ed to larger breweries as well as specific to smaller craft breweries are discussed.

La decisi�n de una cervecer�a de obtener certificaci�n para la elab-oraci�n de cerveza permitida por la religi�n jud�a as� como para comenzar la supervisi�n de la misma es a menudo un complejo asun-to t�cnico y de marqueteo. Se discutir� un an�lisis de los aspectos pragm�ticos de la certificaci�n para la elaboraci�n de cerveza permi-tida por la religi�n jud�a as� como asuntos t�cnicos. Se discutir�n tambi�n los protocolos relacionados con grandes cervecer�as as� como los espec�ficos para las cervecer�as peque�as.
