Abstract
Breweries have not suffered too much to date from activities of the Food & Drug Administration. However, this agency is receiving more money and more support. Breweries can expect more frequent inspections by F.D.A. It should be recognized that these inspections are of a much more intense nature than other regulatory inspections. Brewers must not be complacent because of their past experience. It pays dividends to have a good, preventive sanitation program. To do this, top management must participate. A complete program must be instituted. Complacency must be avoided. Employees must be made to understand the reasons for the program and to cooperate.
