Abstract
An experimental microbrewery designed for the production of a few liters of beer and built entirely of glass can, under carefully controlled conditions, determine the effect obtained from a single manufacturing factor. The study reported is an attempt to create a brewing situation in which changes caused by such factors as temperature, humidity, ventilation, oxidation, filtration, and others are avoided in order to ensure the achievement of reproducible results, thus controlling with certainty all changes caused in the brewing of beer by any factor whose influence one wishes to study.
