Abstract
The concept of automation today is the sensor, nerves, and brains of a complete operation. It is the key to growth through the most efficient future operations. The responsibility for this concept and keeping it dynamic rests with the top brewery management. A member of the management should be a director of automation. His responsibility is the development of the concept, the justification, and the education of all concerned. All department heads must ·be on the automation team and keep abreast of developments.
