Abstract
The concept of automation today is the sensor, nerves, and brains of a complete operation. It is the key to growth through the most efficient future operations. The responsibility for this concept and keeping it dynamic rests with the top brewery management. A member of the management should be a director of automation. His responsibility is the development of the concept, the justification, and the education of all concerned. All department heads must �be on the automation team and keep abreast of developments.
