Course Scholarship Offerings
 Current Master Brewers members may apply for one of the following scholarships: 
 
   Applications must be submitted online and adhere to the scholarship criteria noted below for each award.
   
 
 
Master Brewers Scholarship
Criteria
- Applicant must be a current member of Master Brewers in good standing. 
- Applicant must possess a 
      minimum of five (5) years' service in the brewing and/or malting industry. 
- Applicant must submit the online application form and submit the following documents when applying:
- Resume
- Include two (2) letters of references from Master Brewers members who understand your commitment to the brewing industry. The letter should include a one-paragraph summary describing your qualifications and explain how each came to understand your level of commitment to the brewing industry.
- A brief, focused essay, that includes the following:
- How did you become involved/interested in the brewing industry?
- What are your goals for the next 3–5 years and how will this course support those goals?
- What benefits will you and your company/employer gain by you attending this course?
- A statement that expresses your skills and traits that make you a successful team member. How will you apply the knowledge you gain from this course in a way that exhibits the traits you described?

   John Mallett Scholarship
         Master Brewers members in good standing and non-members are eligible to apply for the John Mallett Scholarship. The scholarship covers the cost of tuition to 
Brewery Maintenance Systems Course. It also provides a travel stipend of $1,200.
This year, the scholarship will only be applied to the Brewery Maintenance Systems Course.
         
         Criteria
Applicant must submit the online application form and submit the online application form and submit the following documents when applying:

- A statement describing their passion for brewing
-  Recommendation from two (2) Master Brewer s Professional Members that describe how the applicant demonstrates their passion for the art and science of brewing

   North American Brewers Association Scholarship 
 Criteria 
- Applicant must be a current member of Master Brewers in good standing. 
- Applicant must possess a

Walt Powell Scholarship
Provides an annual scholarship to award full tuition to the 
   Master Brewers Malting and Brewing Science course, plus a stipend of up to $1,000 for the awardee to cover travel and transportation costs to and from the class.
Criteria 
- Applicant must be a current member of the Master Brewers in good standing. 
- Applicant to complete the online form and submit the following documents when applying: 
- Resume 
- A statement describing their passion for brewing 
- Recommendations from two (2) Master Brewers Professional Members that describe how the applicant demonstrates his/her passion for the art and science of brewing.
