Schedule of Events:
4:30 - ~ 5:30 pm - Hospitality
5:30 - 6:00 pm - General Meeting
6:00 - ~ 6:30 pm - Potty break and possible tour
~6:30 - ~7:00 pm - Technical Presentation
Speaker: Joe Walts - Ale Asylum
Topic: "Better Living Through Brewhouse Water Chemistry"
How water ions and acids affect things like mash pH, alkalinity and calcium, plus an outline of some benefits of targeting a mash pH range that's slightly lower than what many small craft brewers believe is ideal.
~7:15 - 8:30 - Dinner and possibly line dancing. Maybe some lively conversation too.
*Our meeting also follows the Wisconsin Brewers Guild's 'Bringing The Draught Manual Alive' event on the same
day. So, we would love to see some Brewers Guild members joining in on District Milwaukee's festivities. We are a fun group regardless of past rumors. Hey, we all make, or at least, drink beer!! Prost!!
