2017 Master Brewers Conference
General Information

The Master Brewers Association of the Americas has been providing technical leadership for the brewing industry for over 125 years. One of the primary activities to facilitate an exchange of knowledge and ideas is the Master Brewers Conference.
The Master Brewers Conference is the perfect opportunity to learn and network. It provides you the chance to come together, network with your peers, discuss critical issues in brewing, discover the methods of others, and get to know your colleagues. It is your link to the latest technological developments. Discover unsurpassed educational opportunities and some of the greatest brewers from around the world. Get inspired by a mix of practical workshops and ground-breaking papers, all while sampling the latest brews!
This year, we will be meeting at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. We will see you there!

Registration Desk

Registration will be open in the Imperial Foyer during the following times:

Wednesday, October 11 2:00–7:00 p.m.
Thursday, October 12 7:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
Friday, October 13 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Saturday, October 14 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Please have your name badge with you at all times to ensure access to sessions and events.


Guests wishing to attend the Master Brewers Celebration Reception or the Opening Happy Hour must purchase a ticket. Guests do not have access to technical sessions, workshops, or the exhibit area. Guests must register, have a name badge, and be at least 21 years of age to gain access to the Bierstube. Coworkers and business associates are not considered guests and must pay the appropriate registration fees.


The Master Brewers Bierstube is located in Room M103-105 and is open to all registered attendees and registered guests. A name badge is required to enter. No one under the age of 21 is permitted in the Bierstube.

WiFi Lounge

Complimentary WiFi will be available in the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. See the on-site program book or Mobile App for more information.

Speaker Kiosk

The Speaker Kiosk will be available for speakers to review their presentations the day before their scheduled session. The kiosk is located near the Registration Desk.


Electronic proceedings are available to purchase for $59 at the Registration Desk. The proceedings will be available online on the Master Brewers website (www.mbaa.com) following the conference.


The official dress of the conference is business casual.

Photo Release

Photographs will be taken during the 2017 Master Brewers Conference. By attending, you agree to allow Master Brewers to use your photo in any publications, promotions, or websites for Master Brewers.
