U.S. and Other non-Canadian Breweries

If you're sending beer from the U.S. into Calgary, Alberta, here's how to get your beer over the border:

As soon as possible, all U.S. beer sponsors will need to contract a transportatoin company to arrange shipping to Alberta. Your deliverer needs to be a bonded carrier. This means they can transport goods in bond across the border. If you're not sure, questions should be directed to your selected carrier

All shipments must be consigned to:

AGLC
2 Boudreau Rd
St. Albert, AB T8N 6K3
  • When contacting Connect Logistics, it is very important to specify this is a "Private Importation" (this is instead of an Advance Shipping Notice [ASN])

  • The transportation company will require the following information for their cargo control documents to be submitted to the Canada Border Services Agency:
    • Sublocation code for carrier's manifest: 5753
    • Customs port is 702
    • When shipping from U.S., these need to be on the customs manifest when crossing the border

  • Beer needs to be delivered to the above location September 9-16. Cases received after September 16 will not be accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS.
    • Receiving Hours:
    • Sundays 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm
    • Monday to Thursday 6:00 am to 5:00 pm
    • Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
    • Saturday CLOSED
