  • Recommendations from two people that describe how the applicant demonstrates his/her passion for the art and science of brewing.

To be considered for the Master Brewers Scholarship and/or the North American Brewers Association Scholarship, please upload as one .pdf file the following documents:

  • Your Resume
  • Include two (2) letters of references from Master Brewers members who understand your commitment to the brewing industry. Letter should include a one-paragraph summary describing your qualifications and explain how each came to understand your level of commitment to the brewing industry.
    • Note if neither of your references are Master Brewers members you must include in addition, a Master Brewers District member who supports you and endorses your application.
  • A brief, focused essay, that includes the following
    1. How did you become involved/interested in the brewing industry?
    2. What are your goals for the next 3–5 years and how will this course support those goals?
    3. What benefits will you and your company/employer gain by you attending this course?
    4. Statement that expresses your skills and traits that make you a successful team member and how you would apply the knowledge that you will learn from this course in a way that exhibits the traits you described?

Endorsement by two Current Members of Master Brewers is required for application.
