MBAC Education Scholarship

Greetings,

The Master Brewers Association District Ontario is again offering a scholarship for attendance to either the Brewery Packaging Technology, Brewing and Malting Science Course, or Brewery Engineering Course offered by MBAA. The district awards one scholarship to either of these two week courses during the annual Ontario Technical Conference (usually held last Thursday & Friday of January). This scholarship will fund all tuition and 2/3 board. Application will be due by December 31st of the prior year and is the same two-question format as the MBAA International scholarship. This scholarship is open to all MBAA District Ontario members. Please consider applying or suggest to someone you know to apply (and join if not already a member).

Regards,
MBAC Educational Committee

Successful candidates for the MBAA International scholarship will not be eligible for the District Ontario scholarship.

The value of the scholarship is approximately CDN$5500 which includes tuition room and 2/3 board. Applicants must be committed to financing all other ancillary costs, including transportation, involved with the course.

We encourage all applicants to apply for both the District Ontario and the MBAA International scholarships. The essay questions are identical and this will increase the chances for applicants to receive a scholarship with no extra burden.

Applicants for the MBAC District Ontario Scholarship should apply by filling out the accompanying application, printing it, and sending it by the deadline to:

MBAC Education Committee
C\O Joel Manning
300 Midwest Rd.
Toronto, ON M1P 3A9
Fax: 416-759-9054

Winner of the scholarship will be announced at the Ontario Technical Conference in January.
