An Evaluation of the Public Understanding of Beer and Brewing

Abstract
Consumer understanding of beer and the brewing process, together with an appreciation of their hedonic attitudes, were explored through the use of a questionnaire. The data were statistically analyzed and highlighted a series of misconceptions and variances in the public�s knowledge base when interpreted according to geographic location, gender, age, frequency of consumption, and declared understanding.

S�ntesis
Se explor�, mediante un cuestionario, la comprensi�n general que existe en cuanto a la cerveza y el proceso cervecero, a la vez de apreciar el actitud hedon�stico hacia el producto. Los datos fueron analizados esta�d�sticamente, lo que hizo destacar una serie de conceptos err�neos y variaciones en cuanto al conocimiento del p�blico seg�n su ubicaci�n geog�r�fica, sexo, edad, frecuencia de consumo y el grado de conocimientos que dec�an tener.
