Discrete-event simulation of the production of wort in a brewery.

Abstract
The use of a computer model of the wort production process, created by means of the discrete event simulation language GPSS V/6000, to study the potential for improving production efficiency by changing shiftwork patterns and adding new equipment in the brewhouse is described.
