Abstract
This paper discusses the problems encountered in brewery pasteurizer operations which usually relate to scale formation, odours, corrosion, slime or algae formation and the appearance of the filled and pasteurized container. Remedial measures, including selection of chemical treatments, are given. The importance of service as a continuing function and the keeping of good operation records are stressed.
