Abstract
In the final analysis, the most important skill to be acquired by every manager is the ability to communicate effectively. This is so because every leader exercises his leadership through the process of communication. Good managers are good communicators and poor managers are poor communicators. It is as simple as that. Accordingly this paper deals with the basic tools in communication, with which every manager may concern himself to advantage.
