Economics of microbiological stabilization of beer

Abstract
A cold sterilization procedure might substitute for tunnel pasteurization, flash pasteurization, or for membrane filtration. In other words, cold sterilization may not only be used as an adjunct to these latter techniques, which depend on aseptic filling for security, but might be used in conjunction with normal beer finishing techniques without the need for flash pasteurization or membrane filtration.
