glassware with beer and food pairing is taught using samples for experimentation by students.

Beer Steward Handbook
The Beer Steward Handbook
is a peer-reviewed textbook written by experienced brewing professionals and brewmasters. The handbook presents a wide range of topics never before collected in
such detail in one text. This handbook is the industry standard for professionals in the wholesale and retail beer industry.
As part of the seminar
package a workbook containing the presentation slides is provided. Students can follow along and take notes
during the seminar presentation for easy future reference.

An online exam
The seminar registration package includes the Beer Steward Certificate examination consisting of 75 multiple-choice questions that are based on the contents of the Beer Steward Handbook and the live training seminar. The exam is a one hour long open book test that can be taken on any
computer with an internet connection. Upon successful completion of the exam, the participant will receive a Beer Steward Certificate from the Master Brewers Association of the Americas, North America’s oldest professional brewing association, which is renowned for its work in advancing brewing education and professional development since 1887.
