Proudly Presenting the 2013 Annual Winter Conference
The Annual Winter Conference takes place each year in January and it offers brewery personnel a high quality educational experience that is local and affordable. This event is a collaborative effort between the Michigan Brewers Guild and the Master Brewers Association of the Americas-District Michigan. The conference includes presentations by experienced professionals from within Michigan as well as from across the national craft beer community. Presentations cover relevant topics focused on beer sales and marketing as well as the technical aspects of beer production. Additional highlights are a sensory evaluation workshop and a dinner reception featuring extraordinary presentations of beer and food.
The conference will enhance the knowledge of anyone working at a brewery, microbrewery, brewpub or craft beer distributor. Attendees will be able to return to work with relevant and applicable knowledge whether head brewer, assistant brewer, restaurant manager, owner, sales manager, marketing manager or any other position that is directly related to brewing or beer sales and marketing. We regularly hear from conference participants that the event is very high quality, very informative and fun.
The 2013 Conference will take place January 9th-11th at the Radisson Plaza Hotel-Kalamazoo Center located at 100 W. Michigan Ave., Kalamazoo. Conference registration is $175 per person for Brewers Guild and MBAA members ($250 per person for non-members). There is a 10% discount for companies registering 5 or more attendees prior to December 31st. The Kalamazoo Radisson has a special rate of $125 per night (plus taxes and fees) for Thursday the 10th and Wednesday and Friday can be added to a Thursday reservation for $99 each. Hotel parking is additional and self-parking or valet parking are available.
