Ommegang Brewery, Cooperstown, New York.
District Western New York met on May 22, 2013 at the beautiful Brewery Ommegang, located in historic Cooperstown, NY. They were treated to a timely and outstanding technical presentation from Steve Miller titled, "State of the New York Hop Industry." Miller is the state's first hop specialist, a former cooperative extension agent in Oneida County. Miller has extensive experience working with the horticulture and vegetable industry in New York, including expertise in the fields of horticulture, entomology and plant pathology. A delicious dinner was served family-style following the presentation. The District's next meeting is September 11, 2013 at Rohrbach Brewery, Rochester, NY.
