Abstract
From the beginning of time, man has tasted something before he would eat or drink it. Not much has change since then, has it? Over 45 years ago, a very respected gentleman, Philip Gray of Laboratories, delivered a very interesting paper at the 47th Annual Convention of the Master Brewers Association of America. Note that we changed our name to the Master Brewers Association of the Americas some years later. Today, from the smallest Brew Pub to the largest brewery, they depend on Taste Panels for final approval of their product. After reading the following article, you will note that Things have not changed so much!
