Abstract
The paper discusses an inexpensive conversion of conventional cooperage to the single hole keg configuration utilising a unique magnetic valve concept - the Magna-Tap Universal. In addition to the obvious economy of using existing kegs rather than purchasing new ones for a single-hole system, the keg conversion with the magnetic valve has features long desired by both the brewing industry and tavern operators.
