Abstract
This presentation deals with the evolution of bottle cleaner designs for high speed production line capabilities. Traditional models with reciprocating motions for bottle handling emphasised cleaning effectiveness through submerged caustic treatment. The newer designs emphasise continuous motion for smoother and faster operation, as well as as combination hydro jetting caustic treatment with submerged soak time. Details of modern equipment which illustrates the absence of reciprocating motions are presented.
