November Meeting Minutes
Minutes of District St. Paul/Mpls Meeting
November 11, 2009
- Bob Du Vernois called the meeting to order and welcomed members and guests. Bob also thanked Summit Brewing for hosting this meeting.
- Chris German read the minutes of the September meeting. Motion made to accept, 2nd, and approved.
- Chris German gave the treasurer’s report. Motion made to accept, 2nd, and approved.
- Damian McConn gave the scholarship committee report.
- Scholarships for $1000 were given to Tim Roser and Joel Carlson.
- A new membership fee was discussed with the attendees.
- Bob Du Vernois gave a heartfelt thank you to be an officer for MBAA District St. Paul/Minneapolis.
- Mike Lundell was given a mug as the outgoing Board of Governors representative for District St. Paul/Minneapolis
- Mike Miziorko was nominated to become the new incoming secretary for the district. Motion made to accept, 2nd and approved.
- Joe Dirkson gave mention that Chad Thompson from Ecolab received an honorable mention at the MBAA National Convention in La Quinta, CA for his paper on passivation.
- The new officers were welcomed

- Rebecca Jennings – Treasurer
- Mike Miziorko - Secretary
- Motion to adjourn meeting was made and followed by a presentation by Peter Boettcher titled Yeast Management, a crucial factor for today’s quality beers. This was followed by a wonderful pork dinner.
