GOLF COMMITTEE: Don Robinson; Bob Latimer; Helen Knowles; Cate McFalls

DIRECTIONS: North from Hwy 401 at Exit 299 on Brock Road for 6 km.

FORMAT: 1:00 pm - shotgun start
[groups are assigned a starting hole – everyone tees off at 1:00 pm] Tournament remains a scramble. Complimentary lunch before you start – 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Scramble Rules:

  1. Each player tees-off. Select ONE drive, and all players play from within one club-length of that spot. Continue with this format until on the green, and then each player putts from the exact spot.
  2. Teams must use each player’s drive at least 3 times.
  3. Teams of three players will alternate each player playing an extra ball for the entire hole.

FEATURES:

  • Closest to the Pin on all par 3’s (Holes 4,7,9,12,14,17);
  • Longest Drive ‘Guy and Girl’ (both on Hole 16);
  • Closest to the Keg (Hole 6).

Please turn in all scorecards to the Pro Shop when finished.

GENERAL:

  • Register: Fax or e-mail Registration Form by Friday August 29th to enter your group. If you do not have a foursome, we will place you in one. Don’t call the Pro Shop.
  • Tee-time: 1:00 pm shotgun start. Men play from the white tees; Ladies from the reds.
  • Power Carts: Included in fee.
  • Dress Code: Soft spikes. Collared shirts, tailored shorts or trousers - no jeans, tank tops, etc.
  • Lunch: Hot dog or sandwich & a draught of beer included. [Honour system, no tickets.]
  • Dinner: Tamarac Room opens immediately following golf for refreshment, followed by dinner about 6:15 pm. To speed up, we will announce results during dinner.
  • Refreshments: Beer/snacks/drinks available on course. Please, no personal alcoholic beverages. Springfield and the Master Brewers Association remind you to please drink responsibly.

FEE:

  • $115.00 for Golf and Dinner [includes cart]
  • $80.00 for Golf only [includes cart]
  • $65.00 for Dinner only.

This year, the limit will be 144 golfers. If you register for dinner and do not attend, your fee is non-refundable... we are charged for each meal, show or not. Donated prizes are greatly appreciated by your Golf Committee.
