Mix dry ingrediants, add oil, egg and enough beer to get the thickness of batter you prefer. These are also great with blue berries or dried fruit mixed in.
Pour on hot well oiled griddle until golden brown and top with pure maple syrup, jelly or your favorite.
The beer resembles a sourdough like taste and texture. Depending on what flours i use, the texture varies, but they are always delicious and good as left over snacks.
So beer isn't just for breakfast anymore, but certainly still part of it!
Cheers!
