Old Business-

• Summer Social discussed with the addition of the $3000.00 brewing school scholarship for sending a brewer to beer school.
• Announcement of change of board members.
• John Haggerty as VP, Ken Belau as technical chair.

New business-

• Price for summer social: Price $20/25 advance member/nonmember, Designated Driver $10.00, at the door price $25/30
• Summer Social organizers: Jan- Firewood, tickets, ice
• Alec- coil box's (needs additional coil boxes, Marty is bringing his)
• Rex- Auction, Swag awards
• John- cups, snacks
• Ken- Beer guy (Beer coordinator and coilbox count), Horseshoes
• Chad- 50/50 raffle
• Nate- Disc Golf

Secretary Report-

Rex explains the negative figures last year, but working to increase to full scholarship of $3000.00 by generating more funds.

Guest speaker Bill White introduced by Ken Belau. Part of the Toronto MBAA chapter he is retired from working at Labatt's for 32 years. His discussion covered a history of beer. How civilization evolved through beer. During lunch Bill White discussed the pairing of beer with cheese. Talked how much better beer pairs with cheese than wine. A line of gourmet sandwiches were paired with New Holland beers. He went further into discussing how beer pairing dinners open people to trying new beers.
