March 1, Suds ‘n Snow in Traverse City.
Timber Ridge Resort, in Traverse City, is hosting their second annual microbrew tasting and snowshoeing event. They started the event to highlight two lesser-known pastimes in the Northwest MI region: snowshoeing and beer tasting. This year, the event is expanding to include more breweries, live music, winter volleyball, a home brewing clinic, and generally, just a bigger-n-better atmosphere. And it’s all for a good cause! (Donation to a local nonprofit). For information go to http://www.timberridgeresort.net
