MBAA Financial Report

MBAA is a not-for-profit 501 c 3 organization. As such, the 990 tax return is open to public inspection. Outlined below, are charts reflecting the percentage of revenue and expense by program for the years ended December 31, 2007 and 2008. The 2008 fiscal year was a World Brewing Congress (WBC) year, in which MBAA and the American Society of Brewing Chemists (ASBC) shared an annual meeting. Therefore, the 2008 chart reports only the net income and expense of MBAA for the WBC and does not report the gross revenue and expense of the meeting. If you have questions regarding this information or would like a copy of the MBAA 990 tax return, please contact Barbara Mock at bmock@scisoc.org.

Road Trip to Rhythm and Brews Festival

Members of MBAA District St. Louis recently took a road trip to participate in the second annual Herman Rhythm and Brews Festival. Twelve microbreweries from across Missouri brought their best beers to Herman to provide the ultimate beer-tasting experience. The Tin Mill Brewery sponsored the event, which included tasting, barbeque, and entertainment. A good time was had by everyone.
